So you want to know… what is true love?

Can I ask you why?

What was that?

You must be joking, right?

You made him breakfast everyday, washed his clothes, cleaned his house and he still expected more from you? He still pointed out your shortcomings? Honey, that’s not love.

Slapping your a** when you walked by, or screaming your name when you’re doing the nasty makes him a horndog, not the man of your dreams. If you want to know what is true love, prepare yourself for major life changes that will surely bring happiness.

Sadly, most women feel like they don’t deserve better than what they have. My guess is you are one of them, am I right?

Although you are asking yourself, “What is true love?” you must be ready to accept it when it comes into your life. How do you this? You have to break the cycle.

1. What Is True Love: Break the Cycle
   My guess is you don’t feel worthy of true love. Perhaps you watched your mother settle for less than she deserved, maybe you were the victim of humiliation or abuse as a child, or it could be the result of one bad relationship that set the stage for your future. Do you want to know what is true love? Then my friend, you must leave the losers behind and break the cycle by learning to love yourself first. Forget about men for a bit and focus on you. YOU are the priority.
2. What Is True Love: Can You Spell Respect?
   This is a given, however, remember when you first asked me “what is true love?” Do you recall everything you told me about the douche you are with right now? Yeah, well that’s the perfect example of disrespect, and don’t you dare make excuses for him. If you’re not angry, you should be… damn it! He is treating you like a doormat–this is not true love. Respect for the person you love comes naturally; you want to lift them up and make them feel appreciated. What is true love? A man who looks tenderly into your eyes as he serves you breakfast. Sound impossible? Sweetheart, it’s not.
3. What Is True Love: The Ability to Talk
   If it is true love your man is your best friend. You can tell him everything–your deepest secrets–and trust him implicitly. You solve problems together, as a team. What is true love? The unspoken words only your hearts can hear. This kind of love exists, it truly does.
4. What Is True Love: Know the Other Person
   If you want to increase your chances of finding true love and to get him to commit, take the time to get to know the man before you get serious… engaged or married. Do not simply take his word for gold; take the time to observe carefully for yourself. Make a list of all his personality and character qualities you find attractive; if the list is long, you know a lot about him. This is how true love begins–knowing the other person better than they know themselves.
5. What Is True Love: Common Goals
   Take a look at your past relationships…did you share common goals for the future, or did you simply make his goals yours? Do you really want to know what is true love? It is sharing the same dreams, having the same aspirations and caring about the same causes. It’s having a supportive man in your life who cares as much about your mind as he does your woo-woo.
6. What Is True Love: Unconditional Acceptance
   If a man truly loves you he will accept you for who you are. He will not criticize you or berate you. If he does, please understand this is not true love. Instead, compromises will be made, and if you feel you need to change, you will do it of your own accord out of love for him.

What Is True Love? Love Is Not As Complicated As You Think.

So now I will ask you, what is true love? Do you still believe you must give everything and receive very little in return, or do you finally realize you deserve better? Here is the truth about love–there is no magic wand to wave, and the efficacy of “love spells” is questionable. What I can say with 100 percent assurance is that true love exists. What really matterrs is falling in love with yourself. From that point forward, the rest will naturally fall into place…as it should…. then you can finally stop with the “I want to fall in love” affirmations.
